Job summary

Fyffes is seeking a proactive Logistics Specialist to coordinate end-to-end transport of temperature-sensitive fresh produce from origin to sites, warehouses, customers and other destinations. The role focuses on Citrus initially and requires planning and monitoring national and international shipments while resolving issues to ensure on-time, in-full deliveries within budget.

You will work closely with carriers, packhouses, Fyffes sites and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Vocational qualification or degree in Logistics, Transport, Supply Chain or related discipline.
• 1–3 years’ experience in international logistics or road transport.
• Experience in fresh produce or temperature-controlled transport valued.
• Fluency in Spanish, German and English.
• Strong organisation, prioritisation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of transport planning, shipment tracking and cost control.
• Proficient with Excel and standard business systems.
• Import/export knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate national and international road transport, aligning capacity with commitments and service levels.
• Track collections and deliveries, provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate responses to delays, missed slots and rejected loads with timely solutions.
• Work with carriers, freight forwarders, customs agents, growers and sites to keep shipments moving.
• Maintain accurate transport documentation and monitor costs against rates and budgets.
