Job summary

Fyffes is seeking an experienced Food Safety & Responsible Supply Chain Manager to lead food safety, supplier due diligence and responsible sourcing across our international fresh produce supply chain. This senior, hands-on role blends strategic oversight with strong operational control.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science, Agriculture or related field.
• 7–10+ years experience in quality and food safety within fresh produce.
• Experience across international supply chains and multiple sourcing origins.
• Deep knowledge of food safety standards and certification schemes, including GlobalG.A.P., GRASP, BRC, IFS and HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Lead Food Safety & Quality across end-to-end supply chain.
• Audit suppliers and farms; drive corrective actions.
• Drive responsible supply chain due diligence with traceability and documentation.
• Own quality performance; manage claims, rejections and recalls; lead root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate incident and crisis management including holds, recalls and mock recalls.
• Develop the team and lead 3–5 direct reports.
