Job summary

Glovo is seeking a proactive People Care / People Operations Intern to join our People Operations team in Barcelona. You will ensure the best experience and support for our riders, assisting with daily operations and internal processes to keep things running smoothly.

You will work on rider tickets, payroll collaboration, and administrative tasks, while developing in a dynamic, learning-focused environment. This internship offers exposure to global HR practices and diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish and English, written and spoken.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data management.
• Strong communication, empathy, and a detail-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide rider support by resolving payroll, contracts, and inquiries with clear answers.
• Collaborate with Payroll and People Operations to ensure smooth HR processes.
• Assist in preparing documents for labor inspections and organize files.
• Support daily operations of the People Operations team.

About the role: We are looking for a proactive and eager-to-learn People Care / People Operations Intern to join our People Operations team.

In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring the best experience and support for our riders. You will provide essential assistance in the daily operations of the department, making sure our internal processes run smoothly.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Be

• Rider Support: Manage, analyze, and efficiently resolve tickets and inquiries from our riders regarding payroll, contracts, or any other doubts, providing clear answers and quick solutions.
• Payroll & HR Operations: Collaborate closely with our payroll provider and other People Operations team members to ensure smooth processes and help resolve any HR-related issues.
• Legal & Administrative Support: Assist in the preparation of documentation for labor inspections and legal proceedings by searching, downloading, classifying, and meticulously organizing files.
• Daily Operations: Provide general support with administrative tasks and the basic day‑to‑day operational needs of the People Operations team.

Qualifications

What we are looking for (Requirements):

• Languages: Proficiency in both Spanish and English is mandatory (written and spoken).
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel (or Google Sheets) for data management and organization.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, empathy, and a detail-oriented mindset to effectively interact with riders and different internal teams.
• Mindset: A proactive, problem‑solving attitude. We are looking for someone who loves challenges, thrives in dynamic environments, and has a strong drive for continuous learning.
