Group-IPS in Málaga, Spain, is seeking an Intermediate Project Engineer for Real Estate and Industrial Projects, based in our Malaga office with weekly visits to both offices. You will define technical solutions, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and oversee parts of the project lifecycle from feasibility to construction, delivering reports on schedule.

Requirements include a Civil Engineer degree (or Master) in Civil/Road/Architectural fields, 3–5 years in similar roles, experience

• Degree or master's in Civil Engineering, Road Engineering, Architecture or Technical Architecture.
• 3–5 years of experience in similar roles, with at least 2 years in project management.
• Experience in residential, industrial warehousing, hotels and office projects.
• Experience across full civil project lifecycle: master planning, feasibility, permitting, civil works and main infrastructure, contracting and construction management.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.
• MS Office, BIM and Presto proficiency.
• Languages: Spanish and English; French is a plus.
• National mobility between Malaga and Madrid; international mobility depends on project.

Theproject engineer defines technical solutions and organizes technical alignmenton a variety of equipment, facilities, utilities, components, products, andsystems for a diverse client base of manufacturers. He/she maintains andoversees part of / the complete project process; prepares status reports anddelivers the documentation on schedule.

What is the role About?

As aProject Manager at IPS, you’ll be responsible for managing exciting projects,from small improvements to large-scale developments. You’ll work closely with adynamic international team, using the best project management tools to help ourclients succeed. You’ll have the chance to take ownership of the whole projectjourney, from planning to execution, with the following phases:

• Project Feasibility: Definingproject goals, layouts, schedules, procurement strategies, and financialplanning.
• Project Preparation: Handlinginvestment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, financing, and procurement.
• Project Realization:Overseeing detailed engineering, construction management, commissioning, andoperational management.

Requirements

• Degree OR master’s in civil Engineer/ Road Engineer, Architect,Technical Architect.
• 3 to 5 Years of experience in similar positions. Atleast 2 years of experience in Project management.
• Experience in Residential, Industrial warehousing,hotels, offices projects.
• Ideally experience on complete life cycle of a Civilproject: master planning, feasibility,permitting, civil works and main infrastructure needs, contracting andconstruction management and supervision
• Feelingcomfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills and appropriatelyprioritizing those tasks' completion.
• Competences MS Office, office package, BIM and Presto.
• Languages: Spanish and English. French is a plus.
• National mobility between Malaga and Madrid. Internationalmobility depends on the project.
