Your Opportunity

We are currently seeking an Intermediate Piping Designer (Industrial) in our [Winnipeg/Saskatoon/Regina] Office. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and skilled problem solver with a commitment to thrive in a proactive organization where client service and individual excellence are paramount. This is a dynamic work environment where you will be able to challenge your abilities and CAD skills. Joining our Industrial Buildings group will provide exposure to a wide variety of projects – from advanced manufacturing to food and beverage to renewable energy – and everything in between.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Provide design experience, from conceptual through detailed engineering, related to process piping associated with industrial buildings projects.

• Undertake and or assisting in project coordination responsibilities, including scheduling, estimating, and project progressing.

• Review and coordination of vendors and other discipline documents.

• Participate in site visits when required.

• Ensure that work conforms to applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.

Education and Experience

Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology required.

Minimum 5 years of experience working with consulting engineering firms preferred.

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may require travel and include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
