Bechester in Madrid is seeking a full-time Interior Design Intern to join Solutions and Project Management. This hands-on role offers exposure to live projects and direct client interaction.

The internship is designed as a long-term opportunity, with potential to become a full-time Interior Designer after the internship period, subject to performance. You will work on flex living, BTR, PBSA, and hospitality projects across Europe in a dynamic startup environment with hybrid work in Madrid.

Formación

• Final year student or recent graduate in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of 2D/3D visualization and space planning.
• Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Adobe Suite.
• Fluency in Spanish; good English; French or Portuguese a plus.
• Able to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilidades

• Design and concept support for furnishing proposals aligned with client needs.
• Translate client briefs into furnishing solutions within budget.
• Space analysis: site visits, measurements, layout reviews.
• Project coordination with suppliers, quotes, budgets, and timelines.
• On-site assistance during deliveries, installations, and styling.
• Assist moodboards, presentations and photoshoots to ensure market readiness.

The position

We are currently looking for a full time Interior Design Intern to join our Solutions and Project Management team. This is a hands on role with real exposure to live projects and direct client interaction.

The internship is designed as a long term opportunity, with the clear possibility of joining Bechester as a full time Interior Designer after the internship period, subject to performance and mutual fit.

Your Role

As an Interior Design Intern at Bechester, you will support the design and execution of furnishing projects across multiple asset classes, learning the full lifecycle of real estate interior projects.

• Design & Concept Support: Assist in the development of creative, functional, and scalable interior design proposals aligned with client needs and Bechester's standards.
• Client & Project Support: Help translate client briefs into furnishing solutions, balancing design intent, budget, and operational constraints.
• Space Analysis: Participate in site visits, take measurements, review layouts, and support space optimization for comfort, usability, and flexibility.
• Project Coordination: Support supplier coordination, quotation requests, budget tracking, and timeline follow up alongside the project team.
• On Site Assistance: Assist during deliveries, installations, and styling phases to ensure projects are executed according to approved designs.
• Visual & Presentation Support: Collaborate on moodboards, presentations, and project photoshoots to ensure spaces are visually consistent and market ready.

Your Profile

• Final year student or recent graduate in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong interest in residential, hospitality, or flex living projects.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar 3D tools, Photoshop, and Adobe Suite.
• Ability to understand plans and visualize spaces in both 2D and 3D.
• Proactive, detail oriented, and eager to learn in a fast moving environment.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Fluency in Spanish is required. Good level of English is valued. French or Portuguese is a plus.
