Formación

• 5-6 años de experiencia en contabilidad y reconciliación intercompañía.
• Licenciatura en Contabilidad, Finanzas o Administración de Empresas.

Responsabilidades

• Identificar y resolver discrepancias en las reconciliaciones intercompañía.

Job Description:

Intercompany Reconciliation Accountant with English C1 in a multinational company of marketing and communication industry based in Madrid.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly reconciliation of intercompany accounts, ensuring that all transactions between company entities are correctly recorded and squared.
• Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies in intercompany reconciliations, working closely with finance and accounting teams from different countries.
• Prepare and review financial reports related to intercompany transactions, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with international regulations (IFRS, GAAP).
• Collaborate in the monthly accounting closing process, ensuring the correct accounting of intercompany transactions and their reconciliation within the established deadlines.
• Support internal and external audits, providing the necessary documentation and explanations in relation to intercompany accounts.
• Develop and improve internal processes and controls related to intercompany account reconciliation, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations that may impact intercompany transactions and their reporting.

Requirements:

• Experience: 5-6 years of experience in intercompany accounting and reconciliation, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA, ACCA or equivalent certification will be an asset.
• Language: Advanced English, both written and spoken, is a must. Knowledge of other languages will be a plus. Additional proficiency in French would be advantageous for communicating with Operating Companies.
• Technical Knowledge: Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, etc.) and a solid understanding of international accounting regulations (IFRS, GAAP).
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse and reconcile large volumes of financial data, with a high level of accuracy.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
• Attention to Detail: Commitment to accuracy and consistency in all reconciliation and reporting tasks.
