adidas is seeking an Integration Platform Engineer to join the Platform Engineering team. You will help build and operate our cloud-native integration platform, focusing on API management with Kong and event streaming with Apache Kafka on AWS.

You will collaborate across product teams, SRE and security, applying GitOps and IaC to deliver reliable, scalable services while embracing AI-assisted development and modernization practices.

Formación

• College or university degree with focus on IT or equivalent experience.
• Min 5 years IT experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proficient English (verbal and written).

Responsabilidades

• Operate and evolve API Management platform (gateway, routes, policies, security).
• Manage topics, partitions and consumer groups in Kafka; handle offsets and retries.
• Design and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Helm) and GitOps workflows.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for platform changes.
• Apply networking and security fundamentals daily (TLS, RBAC, secrets).
• Own observability and reliability: logs, metrics, traces and alerts.
• Promote self-service platform mindset with documentation and tooling.
• Collaborate with product teams, SRE, security and network engineers.
