Mission

The Insurance Coordinator manages and coordinates all aspects of insurance policies for the organization. They work closely with insurers, brokers, and internal teams to ensure policies are current and assist with claims processing. The role requires excellent organizational, communication skills, and a keen attention to detail. The Insurance Coordinator facilitates seamless communication between clients, insurance providers, and the organization, overseeing claims, policy management, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
  1. Policy Administration: Support contract wording (PPA, EPC, Lenders Agreement, O&M, others), define risk and insurance strategy, maintain records, verify coverage, and assist departments and clients in understanding their insurance options.
  2. Insurance Claims Management: Process and monitor claims for timely reimbursement, investigate discrepancies, liaise with insurance companies, and handle corporate insurance solutions including Cyber risk, D&O, etc.
  3. Coordination and Communication: Coordinate with internal teams and clients on insurance issues, and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers.
  4. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure regulatory compliance, document transactions accurately, and stay updated on policy and law changes.
  5. Financial Oversight: Support financial modeling, assist with billing, and provide cost estimates based on insurance coverage.
Job Requirements
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s in law, finance, engineering, or related fields relevant to insurance and risk management.
  • Experience: At least 10 years in insurance departments of global corporations, insurance firms, or brokerages, with proven expertise in renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in English (C2/C1), negotiation skills, insurance management software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organization, multitasking, communication, interpersonal skills, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
