Role Overview

The Instrumentation & Controls Technician, with completed level two competencies, disassembles, inspects, repairs, calibrates, tests, and maintains field instruments and control systems. Responsible for evaluating modifications, performing complex repairs, troubleshooting, and scheduled or unscheduled maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record and report equipment anomalies and initiate corrective actions.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Reinstall, test, calibrate, and evaluate repaired instruments.
  • Communicate effectively with customer staff regarding equipment calibration and operation.
  • Adhere to safety and maintenance procedures.
  • Perform additional duties to support FieldCore’s vision and core values.
Role Requirements
  • Relevant field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • Appropriate licenses or certifications as required by law.
  • Proficiency in English is advantageous.
  • Experience with instrumentation, controls, calibration, and repair.
  • Understanding of physical standards for mass, temperature, flow, and pressure.
  • Computer literacy and ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (domestic and international).
  • Flexibility to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Preferred Skills
  • Educational background in Electrical Technology is a plus.
  • Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude.
