Formación

Let’s Talk About The Role

The Instrumentation & Controls Technician, having completed level two competencies, disassembles, inspects, cleans, repairs, calibrates, tests, and performs periodic maintenance of field instruments, equipment systems, and controls. Evaluates and determines necessary modifications, performs complex repairs or removal of instruments or devices needing overhaul during scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting during unscheduled work.

Responsibilities include:

  • Recording and reporting abnormal functions or out-of-tolerance conditions of equipment and initiating corrective actions.
  • Providing documentation of daily inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, and other work performed within approved guidelines and procedures.
  • Reinstalling, testing, evaluating, calibrating, and maintaining instruments or devices after repairs.
  • Communicating with customer staff regarding calibration, repair, and operation of equipment as necessary.
  • Performing work in accordance with approved equipment, calibration, maintenance, and safety procedures.
  • Other duties to support FieldCore’s vision and organizational values.

Requirements:

  • Relevant field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • Appropriate licenses or certifications where legally required.
  • English proficiency is advantageous.
  • Experience in instrumentation, controls, installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair.
  • Understanding of physical standards of mass, temperature, flow, and pressure.
  • Working knowledge of computers, blueprints, schematic diagrams, and manuals.
  • Team-oriented, quality-focused, and capable of working independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects within deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and willingness to travel extensively (domestically and internationally).
  • Availability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required.

  • Education in Electrical Technology is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong ownership, work ethic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
