About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Instructional Designer & Trainer to join our team, responsible for designing and delivering high-quality leadership training programs for a leading German premium automotive OEM. Based in our EMEA hub in Madrid, you will create and deliver leadership development programs for senior leaders, focusing on customer-centric leadership, employee experience, and customer experience. Your role will require excellent skills in creating visually compelling training materials and using cutting-edge online engagement tools to ensure an engaging and interactive learning experience for an international, multicultural audience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Instructional Design :
- Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to understand business goals, leadership competencies, and organizational culture.
- Design and develop customized leadership training programs for senior leaders, focusing on customer-centric leadership, employee experience, and customer experience.
- Create high-level, executive-focused learning content that challenges leaders to think critically and strategically.
- Design visually compelling PowerPoint presentations and other materials with a focus on clarity and aesthetic appeal. Expertise in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is highly valued.
- Incorporate multimedia elements, simulations, and interactive tools into learning materials to maximize engagement and impact.
- Training Delivery :
- Facilitate face-to-face and virtual leadership training sessions for senior leadership teams and high-potential leaders across a multicultural, international audience.
- Engage participants using online engagement tools such as Mentimeter, Kahoot, and other interactive platforms to ensure lively participation and meaningful discussions.
- Deliver content that resonates with diverse cultural backgrounds and leadership levels, fostering inclusivity and active participation.
- Create dynamic, interactive sessions with group exercises, polls, and Q&A to promote engagement and meaningful learning experiences.
- Tailor training delivery based on participants' needs and levels, ensuring accessibility for a global, multicultural audience.
- Program Management & Evaluation :
- Coordinate logistics for virtual and in-person training sessions, managing schedules, and ensuring materials are prepared and available.
- Measure the effectiveness of leadership programs using feedback surveys, evaluations, and KPIs to assess impact.
- Refine content and delivery methods based on feedback and emerging best practices.
- Report on training outcomes and recommend improvements based on data.
- Work closely with global teams, especially in Canada and Germany, to ensure program alignment with regional cultural context and strategic objectives.
- Adapt content and delivery approaches for diverse cultural backgrounds and organizational contexts, maintaining a customer-first approach.
Qualifications :
- Bilingual or Native proficiency in English (required for program delivery and materials).
- Spanish and German language proficiency (spoken and written).
- Proven experience in senior leadership development, with a focus on executive learning.
- Expertise in designing and delivering customer-centric leadership training programs, including customer and employee experience.
- Exceptional PowerPoint skills and proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong experience with online engagement tools (e.g., Mentimeter, Kahoot).
- Ability to tailor programs for senior leaders and facilitate discussions addressing global challenges.
- Experience in delivering virtual and face-to-face training for international audiences.
- Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
- Certification in instructional design or leadership frameworks (e.g., ADDIE, Kirkpatrick) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with LMS and digital virtual training tools.
- Understanding of employee engagement and organizational development frameworks.
