About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Instructional Designer & Trainer to join our team, responsible for the design and delivery of a high-quality leadership training program for a leading German premium automotive OEM. Based in our EMEA hub in Madrid, you will be at the forefront of creating and delivering leadership development programs for senior leaders, with a strong focus on customer-centric leadership, employee experience, and customer experience. Your role will require excellent skills in creating visually compelling training materials and using cutting-edge online engagement tools to ensure an engaging and interactive learning experience for an international, multicultural audience.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Instructional Design :
  2. Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to understand business goals, leadership competencies, and organizational culture.
  3. Design and develop customized leadership training programs for senior leaders, focusing on customer-centric leadership, employee experience, and customer experience.
  4. Create high-level, executive-focused learning content that challenges leaders to think critically and strategically.
  5. Design visually compelling PowerPoint presentations, and other materials with a focus on clarity and aesthetic appeal. Expertise in using design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is highly valued.
  6. Incorporate a variety of multimedia elements, simulations, and interactive tools into learning materials to maximize engagement and impact.
  7. Training Delivery :
  8. Facilitate face-to-face and virtual leadership training sessions for senior leadership teams and high-potential leaders across a multicultural, international audience.
  9. Engage participants using online engagement tools such as Mentimeter, Kahoot, and other interactive platforms to ensure lively participation and meaningful discussions.
  10. Deliver content that resonates with diverse cultural backgrounds and leadership levels, fostering inclusivity and active participation from all attendees.
  11. Create dynamic, interactive sessions with a variety of group exercises, polls, and Q&A to promote engagement and facilitate meaningful learning experiences.
  12. Tailor training delivery based on participants' needs and levels, ensuring accessibility for a global and multicultural audience.
  13. Program Management & Evaluation :
  14. Coordinate logistics for both virtual and in-person training sessions, managing schedules, and ensuring all necessary materials are prepared and available.
  15. Measure the effectiveness of leadership programs using feedback surveys, post-session evaluations, and key performance indicators to assess the impact on leadership behaviors and organizational outcomes.
  16. Continuously refine the content and delivery methods based on feedback and emerging best practices in leadership development and learning technologies.
  17. Regularly report on training outcomes, making data-driven recommendations for program improvements.
  18. Work closely with global teams, especially in Canada and our client in Germany, to ensure the program aligns with the regional cultural context and strategic objectives.
  19. Adapt content and delivery approaches for diverse cultural backgrounds and organizational contexts, maintaining a consistent customer-first approach throughout the program.

Qualifications :

  • Essential :
  • Bilingual or Native proficiency in English (required for program delivery and materials).
  • Spanish and German language proficiency (spoken and written).
  • Proven experience in senior leadership development, with a strong focus on executive-level learning.
  • Expertise in designing and delivering customer-centric leadership training programs, as well as programs focused on customer experience and employee experience.
  • Exceptional PowerPoint skills for creating visually compelling presentations, along with proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong experience using online engagement tools (e.g., Mentimeter, Kahoot, etc.) to make training sessions more interactive and engaging.
  • Ability to tailor training programs for senior leaders and facilitate discussions that address global business challenges.
  • Experience in delivering virtual and face-to-face training, with a particular emphasis on creating an engaging, inclusive, and dynamic learning experience for international and multicultural participants.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders and foster interactive, high-level discussions.
  • Desirable :
  • Experience working within the automotive industry is a plus.
  • Certification in instructional design or a recognized leadership development framework (e.g., ADDIE, Kirkpatrick, or similar) is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital tools used for virtual training delivery.
  • Understanding of employee engagement and organizational development frameworks.
