A leading technology company is seeking a support and installation technician for electronic systems in Sevilla. DTN needs to add a support and installation technician for electronic systems in the field of meteorology to its maintenance and support team.
At least 1 year in companies in the service sector, dedicated to the maintenance and repair of electronic equipment and systems, either on your own or for others.
At least 2 years in a maintenance or technical support role will be considered an advantage (optional).
Advanced Technician in Telecommunications and Computer Systems or
Advanced Technician in Electrotechnical and Automated Systems or
Advanced Technician in Electronic Maintenance or
Advanced Technician in Industrial Automation and Robotics.
- Knowledge of the techniques and theories characteristic of electronics and basic electricity, as well as skills in the design, development, evaluation, testing, installation, and maintenance of electronic equipment.
- Electronics, understanding of circuits, plans, basic repairs.
- Industrial electronics: electronic power devices (meters, sensors, analyzers, multimeters, data loggers, relays, resistors, etc.).
- Cover all aspects of control systems, instrumentation, mechanisms and diagnostics, signal processing, and automation for various industrial applications.
- Knowledge of electricity, low voltage, regulations, and protective devices.
- Carry out maintenance procedures.
- Analyze repair practices and develop procedural instructions for others on methods and steps for repairing electronic equipment.
- Develop, evaluate, or modify equipment, systems, and calibration and testing procedures.
- Perform routine and regularly scheduled preventive maintenance on electronic equipment to prevent problems and potential downtime.
- Report, analyze, and file test data.
- Keep a record of maintenance tasks that have been performed, on what dates, and when certain tasks must be performed again in the future.
- Establish and perform initial tests on new electronic systems or equipment.
- Follow wiring diagrams, drawings, and schematics to ensure that all systems are installed correctly.
- Test and repair various electronic systems or instruments.
- Perform equipment testing or diagnostics to locate and resolve a problem, order parts if necessary, and replace or repair parts.
The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between €18,750- €25,000. DTN is a pay-for-performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
