We are a full-service catering company that provides not only food but also comprehensive production services. This includes styling, decor, rentals, linens, flowers, logistics, vendor management, timelines, and beverage packages. All of these aspects fall under the production purview of this job.

Our team works together in a very fast-paced, nonstop, busy environment. We collaborate and work together to create experiences that are nourishing, soulful, and beautiful.

The candidate must be creative, with a high aesthetic sense and the ability to create beautiful, cohesive events from both a visual and production perspective. Must be sharp, able to work quickly and efficiently under pressure, flexible with clients and team, positive, and good-natured.

This is not a 9 to 5 job. Our dynamic schedules may take us remote, up to 70 miles from our office, to different locations and residences, and to events at all times of day, including evenings and weekends. Candidates should be able to self-manage their time and workload to meet specific time constraints. We work in the office at least 2 days a week, onsite 1 to 2 days, and fill in office time at home.

The event producer position involves:

• Working directly with the event manager to produce events.
• Handling up to 50 productions a year.
• Managing production activities including walkthroughs, meetings/calls, rentals, logistics forms, menus, communication with the JLC team, styling (linens, flowers, decor), working with venues and planners/coordinators, coordinating vendors, creating floor plans, managing load-ins, tastings, obtaining permits, COIs, and packing for lead events.
• Updating all event documents promptly and accurately as information changes.
• Reviewing rentals, logistics sheets, invoices, etc., with attention to detail to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Executing deposit invoices and contracts, tracking payments.
• Onsite event execution at private homes and public venues.
• Supporting other producers at their events as needed.
• Communicating effectively and warmly with clients, vendors, and team members, acting as a leader onsite to ensure smooth event operations.
• Being onsite 1 to 3 times per week, including supporting other producers’ events.
