NET Developer - AI Assistant Team (100% remote-friendly within Spain)

About the Role

We’re looking for a .NET Backend Engineer to join our team and help build the core functionalities of Noa Notes. You’ll play a key role in developing scalable, high-quality, and efficient solutions while working on the business logic of Noa, integrations with Docplanner products, and integrations with third-party systems.

What You’ll Do

1. Design and develop backend functionalities in .NET / C#, following best coding practices.
2. Work with relational and NoSQL databases to ensure data integrity, scalability, and security.
3. Implement clean architecture principles and the CQRS pattern.
4. Develop and optimize scalable distributed cloud systems.
5. Integrate AWS, Azure, Whisper, and ChatGPT.
6. Elevate queues such as Azure Queues or RabbitMQ.
7. Collaborate with frontend developers (Vue.js).
8. Ensure high code quality through TDD, DDD, and extreme programming practices.
9. Support DevOps-related tasks, including Kubernetes deployments.
10. Provide technical support and foster a culture of knowledge-sharing within the team.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

1. Strong experience with .NET / C# and relational databases (SQL).
2. A deep understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design principles.
3. Experience working with NoSQL, Docker, and observability tools.
4. A strong belief in testing as a crucial part of development.
5. Experience with asynchronous and multi-threaded programming.
6. The ability to design complex, scalable system architectures.
7. Curiosity about end-users, how they interact with and perceive our product.
8. Ability to apply product management techniques when it comes to proper prioritization and scope slicing.
9. Strong problem-solving and algorithmic thinking skills, with the ability to tackle complex challenges efficiently.
10. High level of ownership and accountability, with an entrepreneurial mindset as a plus.
11. Excellent communication skills in English (both spoken and written).

Nice-to-Have:

1. Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (Vue.js preferred).
2. Experience in AI-related projects (e.g., Speech-to-Text).
3. Knowledge of Kubernetes.
4. Understanding of security, authentication, and authorization flows.
5. Ability to understand Python codebase.
