Laminarprojects is seeking a senior project controls leader to guide the delivery of complex construction programs. You will push the discipline to new heights, focusing on cost, schedule, change and risk controls to enable informed decisions across multiple projects.
In this role you will coach teams, develop scalable processes, and report clearly to stakeholders. You will work in a global consultancy setup with opportunities to travel and affect industry-wide practice.

You will be enhancing the delivery of the most complex and interesting projects in the world through the power of project controls. You will be a senior leader in our team pushing the discipline to new heights not only within our organisation but within the industry in general.

More specifically you will be part of our Project Controls Discipline Team, a leader in the planning and controls of complex construction projects. Your initial manager will be one of our project controls discipline directors.
What kinds of projects would I be working on? You will be exposed to multiple complex projects in your first year, including data centres, infrastructure (defence, rail, highways), high‑tech (advanced manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors) and complex building projects. These projects have high value and strategic impact.
Who are our clients? Major owners, operators and main contractors with project values ranging from £1m to over £1bn worldwide.
Where would I be working? Work may be from home, on‑site or at our London office. You may travel to client sites across the UK and internationally.
How does what I do connect with the long‑term impact on the construction industry? You will identify and document common problems, develop and refine solutions, and add them to our knowledge repository. This repository will be open‑sourced to the industry, informing future products and practices.
