About Horse Technologies

This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Valladolid, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What You Will Do

• Lead the convergence of key performance indicators (emissions, fuel efficiency, drivability, torque/power, NVH) in hybrid/diesel powertrain innovation projects.
• Define and deploy performance strategies across multidisciplinary R&D teams.
• Build and manage technical performance contracts with specialized teams.
• Conduct simulation activities and analyze results related to efficiency, performance, and NVH.
• Benchmark innovative powertrain technologies and competitor vehicles.
• Evaluate suppliers under RFI processes and support decision-making at early project stages.
• Prepare and present technical documentation and project status to top management.
• Represent the Customer Performance department in high-level internal and external meetings.

What We’re Looking For

• A proven track record in managing powertrain performance convergence and leading innovation activities in the automotive sector.
• Industrial or Mechanical Engineering degree, preferably with a Master’s or PhD in combustion engines.
• Excellent skills in simulation tools (AVL Cruise M, GT-Suite) and technical documentation.
• Strong competencies in transversal team leadership and strategic thinking, with a collaborative approach.
• Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; a good level of French and Spanish will be valued.
