Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an Injection Mold Engineer to develop, validate, and implement injection molds for plastic components at our Puente la Reina site in Spain. You will ensure quality, cost, and delivery requirements while collaborating with design teams.

The role requires a mechanical engineering background, mold design knowledge, and strong problem-solving. Occasional European travel is expected within a hybrid/onsite work framework.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge of mold design and injection molding processes.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Fluent English.
• Availability to travel mainly within Europe and occasionally outside Europe.

Responsibilities

• Define tooling and manufacturing constraints with Product Design Teams.
• Prepare mold technical specifications.
• Perform and review Mold Flow Analysis.
• Evaluate mold suppliers and analyze quotations.
• Follow mold manufacturing and validation activities at supplier’s side.
• Coordinate mold implementation in production plants.
• Maintain technical records and project tracking (External).
