Schneider Electric Navarra invites a Design Engineer to develop and refine electro-mechanical components, manage BOMs, drawings and material selection, and ensure reliability, safety and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Specialized technical expertise in electro-mechanical design and product development.
• Experience designing and improving products, components, and sub-assemblies.
• Knowledge of design and risk methodologies such as DFMEA, FTA, tolerance stack-up, and interface analysis.
• Experience managing technical definition files, including BOMs, drawings, materials, variants, versions, and baselines.
• Experience considering manufacturability, supply chain constraints, quality, safety, reliability, and cost targets.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Design & Review System Elements / Components / Sub Assemblies.
• Contribute to the DfSR process (P-Diagram, Interface Diagram, Interface matrix / Architecture View, DFMEA, FTA).
• Define Components / Sub-Assemblies Mission Profile.
• Perform DFMEA Mitigation actions, Design Optimization & Tolerance stack-up - Manage simulation.
• Manage Variants, Versions, Baselines of the prototypes at the data and physical level.
• Create, modify, and validate the Definition File (including BOM, drawings and material selection).
• Write parts and sub-assemblies Verification Test Plan and manage its execution.
• Release Definition file for Production.
