A leading engineering firm in Madrid seeks a candidate to validate brakes systems from a HW/SW perspective. Responsibilities include planning validation tasks, conducting tests, and generating specifications. Within the STC department, in the Sales & System area, your main task will be carrying out the brakes system validation from the HW / SW point of view, including tests at bench and static / dynamic tests over vehicle on site.

Functions :

1. Planning the brakes system validation for assigned projects, prioritizing economic efficiency and meeting agreed deadlines.
2. Understanding the project from mechanical, electrical, and electronic perspectives through documentation provided by the system and development areas.
3. Performing system SW tests according to project requirements, setting up the bench, and assessing results.
4. Generating test specifications and protocols (static / dynamic), coordinating with customers, and considering applicable standards and project-specific requirements.
5. Producing HW test configurations, including mock-ups, instrumentation, tools, and gadgets.
6. Carrying out tests at training (national or international) and preparing related reports.
7. Communicating necessary modifications identified during commissioning to the project team.
8. Driving required actions to resolve deviations during bench tests and commissioning, collaborating with different areas as needed.

Requirements :

Education : Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or similar.

Experience : At least 2 years performing similar functions.

English : Minimum B2, preferably C1.

Availability to travel nationally / internationally.
