Your Role

As a Mechanical Engineer at THEKER, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and developing mechanical components for our robotic systems. You will be an essential part of our product development process, contributing with innovative ideas and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and developers.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop mechanical components and systems for robotic applications.
  2. Design, prototype and test robot manipulation systems and mechanical assemblies.
  3. Conduct testing and validation of mechanical designs to ensure reliability and performance.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components.
  5. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying optimization opportunities.
  6. Plan the manufacturing of the developed designs, committing to the highest quality standards while ensuring production efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Industrial, electronics, aerospace, industrial design, product development).
  2. Proficiency in CAD tools.
  3. Hard-working attitude and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  4. Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  5. Innovative, out-of-the-box thinker with a passion for robotics.
  6. Willingness to reside in Barcelona or relocate to this city or its surroundings.
  7. Professional experience is not required; an outstanding academic record or active participation in extracurricular projects during university (such as competitions, formula student/moto student, research projects, or personal innovations) will be a big plus.
  8. Previous professional experience in mechanical design, manufacturing, aerospace or robotics.
  9. Knowledge of CAE tools and analysis techniques.
  10. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials.
  11. Experience in machine design and production.
