Infotel is seeking an experienced System IVQ Engineer to lead integration, verification and qualification activities. The role requires handling complex systems with hardware, software, firmware and external interfaces, and generating formal verification evidence for aerospace and defence programs.

The candidate will analyze requirements, define test coverage, and execute diverse tests while collaborating with HW, SW and systems teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, Aerospace Engineering, Electronics or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience.
• English proficiency for technical documentation, reviews and communication with customers and engineering teams.
• Previous experience in the Aerospace, Aviation or Defence industries is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Perform integration, verification, validation and qualification activities at system and subsystem level.
• Analyze system and subsystem requirements and define the verification approach, methods and test coverage.
• Prepare, review and maintain test specifications, test cases, procedures and reports.
• Execute functional, performance, interface, robustness and end-to-end system tests.
• Configure and operate system test benches, simulators, emulators, instrumentation and test environments.
• Maintain bidirectional traceability between requirements, test cases, procedures, results and anomalies.
• Analyze test results, identify deviations and support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis with multiple teams.
• Manage anomalies, defects and non-conformances, including verification of corrective actions and regression testing.
• Support formal TRR, qualification, acceptance and verification reviews with consistent evidence.
• Support integration and test activities in laboratory environments and during factory/on-site campaigns.

About the Role:

We are looking for an System IVQ Engineer – Integration, Verification & Qualification.

The role requires a hands-on engineering approach, with the ability to understand system requirements and architecture, define appropriate verification methods, operate test environments, analyze results, troubleshoot anomalies, and produce the associated verification evidence.

Integration, Verification and Qualification (IVQ) Engineer specializing in the verification, validation, and qualification of complex systems and subsystems, with a strong focus on system-level and requirements-based testing. Experienced in the integration and verification of systems combining hardware, software, firmware, communications, and external interfaces, including the preparation and execution of formal verification and qualification campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Perform integration, verification, validation, and qualification activities at system and subsystem level.
• Analyze system and subsystem requirements and define the corresponding verification approach, methods, and test coverage.
• Prepare, review, and maintain test specifications, test cases, test procedures, and test reports.
• Execute functional, performance, interface, robustness, and end-to-end system tests.
• Configure and operate system test benches, simulators, emulators, instrumentation, and test environments.
• Perform requirements-based verification and maintain bidirectional traceability between requirements, test cases, procedures, results, and anomalies.
• Analyze test results, identify deviations, and support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis in cooperation with System, HW, SW, and other engineering teams.
• Manage and follow up anomalies, defects, and non-conformances identified during integration and test campaigns, including verification of corrective actions and regression testing.
• Support formal TRR, qualification, acceptance, and verification reviews, ensuring that the required evidence and documentation are available and consistent.
• Support integration and test activities in laboratory environments and, when required, during factory and on-site campaigns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, Aerospace Engineering, Electronics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience.
• English proficiency for technical documentation, reviews, and communication with customers and engineering teams.
• Previous experience in the Aerospace, Aviation or Defence industries, is an advantage.

Required Skills:

• Good understanding of system engineering and requirements-based verification processes.
• Experience testing complex systems combining hardware and software components.
• Ability to understand system architectures, interfaces, ICDs, operational scenarios, and functional chains.
• Hands-on experience with test benches, laboratory equipment, simulators, emulators, and test instrumentation.
• Experience with test automation and scripting, preferably using Python and Robot Framework.
• Good knowledge of Linux environments and basic networking and communication protocols.
• Ability to perform technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across HW/SW/interface boundaries.
• Experience with requirements management, traceability, anomaly management, and test management tools.
• Familiarity with ECSS, DO-178B/C, DO-278, or comparable safety/mission-critical development and verification frameworks is desirable.
