Infotel SP Consulting busca un Ingeniero de Software Embebido con experiencia en C para el análisis, diseño y desarrollo de software embebido en sistemas de tiempo real críticos para aeronáutica y defensa. La posición es en Madrid, con modalidad híbrida.

Se valorará conocimiento de RTOS y cumplimiento de normas DO-178C/DO-278A, con oportunidades de desarrollo profesional en un equipo internacional de alto nivel.

Formación

• Titulación universitaria en Ingeniería informática, Ingeniería de software o similar.
• Mínimo 3 años de experiencia en desarrollo embebido.
• Experiencia sólida en C.

Responsabilidades

• Analizar, diseñar, desarrollar y mantener software embebido en C para sistemas de seguridad crítica.
• Participar en el ciclo completo de desarrollo de software, desde requisitos hasta integración y verificación.
• Desarrollar software en entornos RTOS.
• Asegurar cumplimiento de normas DO-178C/DO-278A y procesos de calidad aeronábrica.
• Colaborar con equipos de ingeniería multiculturales en un entorno internacional.

Embedded Software Engineer (C) – Safety-Critical Real-Time Systems

About the Role:

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with strong expertise in C programming for the analysis, design and development of real-time safety-critical embedded software.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge international aerospace and defence programmes from Spain, working alongside highly experienced engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse, design, develop and maintain embedded software in C for safety-critical systems.
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to integration and verification.
• Develop software in Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) environments.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace software development standards and quality processes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams in an international environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, Aerospace Engineering, Electronics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in embedded software development.
• Strong experience programming in C.

Technical Requirements:

• Proven experience developing embedded software for real-time critical systems is mandatory.
• Experience working under DO-178C and/or DO-278A standards. is desirable
• Previous experience in the Aerospace, Aviation or Defence industries, is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
• Experience with RTOS such as PikeOS or similar is highly valued.
• Additional knowledge of Ada and/or C++ is considered a plus.
