Senior Sales Manager - Global Athlete & Team Marketing (m / f / d)

Your responsibilities

  • Drive international partnership sales across various sports such as Basketball, American Football, Soccer.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective new clients through multiple channels including phone, email, LinkedIn, networking events and meetings.
  • Advise and guide (global) brands on the sports sponsorship landscape and development of tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
  • Lead sales pitches with clients to understand objectives, build relationships and secure revenue for the business (with occasional international travel).
  • Provide regular updates in team sales meetings showcasing activity and pipeline development, business closed and share insights for potential collaboration with other sales team members.
  • Strengthen post-sales relationships to enhance renewal probability and identify cross-sales and upselling potential.
  • Act as an ambassador for SPORTFIVE, maintaining high professional standards in all external engagements.

Your profile :

  • 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably from a sports team, league or relevant property and / or agency experience.
  • Proven track record in generating sponsorship revenues with several years of professional work experience.
  • A strategic and consultative sales approach, including the ability to create customized partnerships tailored to individual brands' objectives.
  • Outstanding sales communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Experience delivering high-quality pitches to senior decision-makers in English.
  • Established network of brand contacts with the ability to expand relationships further.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple work streams in fast-paced & time-sensitive environments.
