Infotel Sp Consulting is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer with strong C skills to design and develop safety-critical real-time software for aerospace and defence programs. You’ll contribute to projects from Spain, collaborating with experienced international teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's in a related field and at least 3 years of embedded software experience, with DO-178C/DO-278A knowledge considered a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, Aerospace Engineering, Electronics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in embedded software development.
• Strong experience programming in C. Proven experience developing embedded software for real-time critical systems is mandatory.
• Experience working under DO-178C and/or DO-278A standards is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Analyse, design, develop and maintain embedded software in C for safety-critical systems.
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle from requirements analysis to integration and verification.
• Develop software in Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) environments.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace software development standards and quality processes.

About the Role:

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with strong expertise in C programming for the analysis, design and development of real-time safety-critical embedded software .This position offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge international aerospace and defence programmes from Spain, working alongside highly experienced engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse, design, develop and maintain embedded software in C for safety-critical systems. Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to integration and verification.
• Develop software in Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) environments.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace software development standards and quality processes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams in an international environment.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, Aerospace Engineering, Electronics or a related discipline.

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in embedded software development.

Strong experience programming in C .Technical Requirements: Proven experience developing embedded software for real-time critical systems is mandatory.

Experience working under DO-178C and/or DO-278A standards. is desirablePrevious experience in the Aerospace, Aviation or Defence industries, is an advantage.

Knowledge of Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) .Experience with RTOS such as PikeOS or similar is highly valued.

Additional knowledge of Ada and/or C++ is considered a plus.
