A leading retail company seeks a Data & AI Engineer to shape the future of their Data & AI infrastructure in a cloud-native environment. This role involves building and maintaining a sovereign platform, designing system architecture, and developing essential APIs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about emerging technologies in BI and AI, with strong experience in software development, Kubernetes, and Golang.

Formación

• Solid experience with software development & Kubernetes.
• Proficient in Golang, familiar with Kafka, Spark, Airflow, Dremio.
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Build and evolve a sovereign Data & AI platform in the cloud.
• Design system architecture and integrate relevant open-source projects.
• Develop REST APIs for lifecycle control of cloud services.
• Create Kubernetes operators to automate service deployment and scaling.

Location : Spain | Hybrid (2 days / month in Barcelona city center)

Contract : Permanent | End Client : Large Retail Company

What you’ll do :

• Build and evolve a sovereign Data & AI platform in the cloud
• Design system architecture and integrate relevant open-source projects
• Develop REST APIs for lifecycle control of cloud services
• Create Kubernetes operators to automate service deployment and scaling
• Take full ownership within an agile product team (You Build It – You Run It!)
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues with sustainable, hands-on solutions

What we’re looking for :

• Passion for cutting-edge tech in BI, AI, and cloud environments
• Solid experience with software development & Kubernetes
• Proficient in Golang
• Familiar with tools like Kafka, Spark, Airflow, Dremio
• Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn & share knowledge
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher
