Formación

• Experiencia en motores marinos y equipos, con conocimientos de instrumentos de medición.
• Habilidades para leer documentos técnicos y realizar reportes de hallazgos.

Responsabilidades

• Ejecutar trabajos mecánicos en motores marinos en el taller y en el sitio del cliente.
• Diagnosticar fallos en motores y turboalimentadores, y realizar tareas de mantenimiento.

Descripción del empleo

At MAN Energy Solutions Spain we are currently looking for Service Engineers specialized in marine engines, 2-stroke / 4-stroke / ME / turbochargers. You will be responsible for service activity and will have to execute service work on customer’s site, onshore and offshore in Spain and Europe.

You will be stationed at MAN Energy Solutions Spain in Valencia or Las Palmas.

We can offer you the following tasks:

1. Execution of mechanical works in the workshop, on board or at customer sites on Marine engines and equipment (e.g. 2- or 4-stroke MAN MC; ME engines etc.)
2. Perform service tasks on new installations, maintenance and repairing activities
3. Perform reporting and documentation for the work performed
4. Diagnose reasons for engine / turbocharger failure
5. Planning, organization, preparation & coordination of such site works with MAN Energy Solutions internal as well as customer staff & contractors
6. First response to our clients in Spain and European Region for any emergency on MAN Energy Solutions
7. Maintain professional communication and strong business relationships with customers

You can help us with these qualifications:

1. Mechanical experience on Marine engines (2-stroke, 4-stroke, turbochargers, automation, ME) and equipment and knowledge of all high precision measuring instruments
2. Experience in reading technical documents, instructions, sketches / explanation of details and cross-sectional drawings
3. Good reporting skills and reporting any findings in the field in writing
4. Troubleshooting attitude
5. Advanced analytical thinking, independent, punctual, resolute, hands-on mentality, can handle stress and difficult situations in a calm manner
6. Availability to travel for technical assignments in Spain and Europe (minimum of 150 days per year)
7. Fluency in English
8. Good command of Spanish language or the willingness to learn it
