Job summary

Roche is seeking an intermediate IT Infrastructure Engineer in Spain for a hybrid role—50/50 between traditional infrastructure and automation. You will design, build, and implement resilient backup solutions, on‑prem or cloud, with DevOps practices for test‑driven infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, address complex technical problems, and ensure compliance with Quality and Regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of relevant work experience, or 1-3 years with a Master’s degree, preferably in a multinational work environment.
• Experience acting in a DevOps capacity and addressing a broad range of technical problems.
• Experience designing, building, testing, and implementing integrated, reliable IT infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and implement integrated, resilient infrastructure backup solutions, on‑premises or in the public cloud.
• Apply deep technical knowledge to address difficult challenges and solve a range of business problems.
• Collaborate with product and support teams to resolve incidents and ensure robust IT service delivery.
• Ensure solutions comply with Quality and Regulatory standards.
• Design and implement test‑driven infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide documentation for designs and standards.
• Evaluate technologies via PoCs and assess feasibility for business needs.
• Communicate complex issues clearly to stakeholders.
• Take ownership of key deliverables and influence project direction.
