Job summary

Roche is seeking an intermediate IT Infrastructure Engineer for a dynamic 50/50 hybrid role between traditional infrastructure and automation. You will design, build, and implement resilient backup solutions, both on‑prem and in the cloud, and apply DevOps practices to create test‑driven infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of relevant work experience, or 1-3 years with a Master’s degree.
• Experience in DevOps and infrastructure automation.
• Experience designing, building, testing, and implementing integrated IT infrastructure solutions.
• Ability to mentor smaller project teams or peers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and implement integrated, resilient backup solutions on‑prem or cloud.
• Design test‑driven infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide internal escalation support to resolve incidents and major incidents.
• Ensure all solutions comply with Quality and Regulatory standards.
