Job summary

Roche is seeking an intermediate IT Infrastructure Engineer for a dynamic, hybrid role split 50/50 between traditional infrastructure and automation. You will design, build, test, and implement resilient backup solutions on‑premises or in the cloud, while applying DevOps practices to create test‑driven infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of relevant work experience, or 1–3 years with a Master’s degree, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Demonstrated experience acting in a DevOps capacity, independently addressing difficult technical problems.
• Experience designing, building, testing, and implementing integrated, reliable IT infrastructure solutions.
• Experience representing workgroups on project teams, managing milestones, and potentially leading small project teams or mentoring individuals.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and implement integrated, resilient backup solutions on‑prem or in the cloud.
• Design and implement test‑driven infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Provision and manage infrastructure as code and orchestration systems.
• Produce documentation for designs and automated components.
• Act as technical consultant to stakeholders and take ownership of key deliverables.
