Formación

• Proficiency with Windows OS and related software.
• Field engineering experience preferred.
• Skills in programming 6-axis robots (preferably Fanuc) and Siemens PLC programming.

Job Summary

Leads the Process Engineering department in operating with a high level of efficiency, integrity, and enthusiasm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Strives to achieve excellence in all endeavors.
2. Be a creative and proactive contributor on the management team, focused on continuous improvement at all times.
3. Directs Manufacturing Engineering Technicians on their assigned lines in observing machine and line performance, and provides guidance to achieve optimum machine and process efficiency.
4. Provides training to Manufacturing Engineering Technicians and Assistants in equipment maintenance, repair, machine programming, optimization, and part-data (PD) file creation.
5. Interfaces with Line Supervisors, Machine Support Manager, and Manufacturing Engineers to determine corrective actions needed to optimize machine efficiency and yields. Creates, documents, and implements procedures for operational excellence.
6. Provides expertise and direction to Technicians on machine adjustments, repairs, or demand-maintenance activities as needed.
7. Manages coverage of Technician duties in the plant(s) during absences and performs duties during critical needs.
8. Assists Engineers in determining optimal process performance, including reflow profiles, wave solder profiles, solder paste printing, tooling design, and DFM suggestions.
9. Ensures data integrity functions like program and PD backups are regularly completed.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Knowledge Requirements

• Effective presentation and communication skills with managers, clients, and the public.
• Problem definition, data collection, and conclusion drawing skills.
• Proficiency with Windows OS and related software, including Jabil’s packages.
• Basic writing and reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to follow simple instructions and deal with standardized situations.
• Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and graph interpretation.

Additional Skills

• Design of electrical schematics.
• Programming of 6-axis robots (preferably Fanuc).
• PLC programming (Siemens).
• Servo control experience.
• Technical English language skills.
• Field engineering experience.
