We offer the opportunity to participate in the design and manufacturing process of top-tier continuous process industrial installations. If you have at least three years of experience developing and designing equipment, installations, and plants related to continuous processes—particularly within the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and chemical industries—this opportunity may interest you.

Órbita, a leading engineering company, is looking to hire a mechanical or chemical engineer to join our development team at our Alcàsser headquarters.

1. Generate specifications for equipment for validation and procurement of industrial equipment.
2. Size and validate installations based on theoretical calculations.
3. Create and validate detailed construction plans for manufacturing.
4. Generate procurement lists.
5. Monitor and validate procurement, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
6. Prepare documentation according to quality standards.

The role involves responsibility within a multidisciplinary team (mechanical, electrical, and programming) for the assigned project, including technical coordination, manufacturing, and integration of the designed installations.

1. Experience in designing industrial equipment related to continuous processes (tanks, reactors, skids, platforms, hoppers).
2. Calculation of fluid and solid transport installations (pressure losses, mass balances, time studies, heat transfer, mixing, and agitation).
3. Design and sizing of pneumatic systems.
4. Knowledge of equipment and processes related to the food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industries.
5. Understanding of process diagrams and P&ID.
6. Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
7. Knowledge of 3D design applications (Inventor, AutoCAD Plant3D) is a plus.
8. Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.
9. High motivation and flexibility to expand knowledge in industrial environments.
10. Experience in designing processes and equipment in the mentioned industries.
11. Availability for client visits.
