Job summary

GMV is seeking graduates in Telecommunications, Aerospace or Computer Engineering to join its hardware engineering team working on ground assets for satellite navigation programs. The role emphasizes system architecture, equipment integration and rigorous technical documentation in English and Spanish.

You will contribute to hardware solutions, evaluate technology options, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and benefit from a hybrid working model, language support and a relocation package

Qualifications

• Graduates in Telecommunications Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Computer Engineering with strong interest in hardware engineering, systems architecture and complex infrastructures.
• Good level of English; strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Value of previous experience and knowledge in hardware components, space systems and ground segment infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the definition and integration of hardware solutions for satellite navigation ground systems.
• Analyse system needs and translate them into technical and infrastructure requirements.
• Evaluate hardware technologies including servers, storage, GPUs, networking equipment, and other IT components.
• Compare vendor solutions and support technology selection through technical assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams in system design and architecture reviews.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, specifications, analyses, and design artefacts in English and Spanish.
• Support requirements verification and ensure alignment between design decisions and project objectives.
• Develop expertise in hardware technologies, suppliers, and infrastructure solutions used in complex space and navigation programmes.

Our multidisciplinary group includes aerospace,software, hardware and networks experts working together to create, evolve and maintain the ground assets architecture which support complex missions such as Galileo or LEO PNT. These European missions provide positioning and navigation services worldwide, by means of satellite constellations controlled by the ground segments you would help to design.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Technical documentation analysis and interpretation, including manufacturers' specifications.
• Preparation of technical reports, specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Space systems, satellite navigation, and ground segment infrastructures.
