GMV Spain is seeking a cybersecurity architect to lead the design of ground segments for satellite navigation systems, including control centres and interfaces with stations and other entities.

The role involves collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to define security models, produce design documents, and oversee security-by-design processes for complex Galileo/LEO PNT missions. Remote and international mobility are available.

Responsabilidades

• Definition of the security architecture of ground segments (control centres and interfaces with stations and other entities).
• Generation and review of security documentation (Design, plans, technical notes).
• Collaboration with cybersecurity team for security model definition (OS choice, hardening, deviations).
• Liaison between cybersecurity team and other technical teams for alignment.
• Contribute to processes to establish security by design.
• Identify potential risks and system threats.
• Provide technical support to segment teams and customers.
• Interact with ESA and subcontractors; attend reviews and milestones.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

We'relooking for candidates willing to join our ground segment architects team,which manages the design of ground segments for satellite navigation systems

Thismultidisciplinary group includes experienced aerospace, software, hardware andnetworks experts in charge of designing the ground assets architecture whichsupport complex missions such as Galileo or LEO PNT. These European missionsprovide positioning and navigation services worldwide, by means of bigsatellite constellations controlled by the ground segments you would help todesign.

Thisposition is initially targeted to candidates with experience in the spacesector, but contact us if you have relevant experience in the design of othersecurity architectures from different technological domains.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Definitionof the security architecture of ground segments (control centres and interfaceswith stations and other entities), cooperating actively with the otherarchitects within the team (engineering, networks, hardware, software, keymanagement, operations, etc.) and the security officer
• Generationand review of security documentation (Design, plans, technical notes...)
• Closecollaboration with the cybersecurity team for the definition of the securitymodel (e.g. operating systems choice, hardening activities, deviations, etc.)
• Liaisonbetween between the cybersecurity team and other technical teams to ensureproper alignment
• Contribution to the processes definition, oriented to stablish security bydesign
• Identification of potential risks and system threats
• Provisionof technical support to the segment teams and customers
• Interaction with client (ESA) and subcontractors (within Europe), includingattendance to reviews, formal test milestones execution/supervision, etc.
• Evolutionof the security strategy
