Infrastructure Engineer

From Hays, we are looking for a Platform Engineer to work for an energy company originating from Italy.

Location: Madrid, with good flexibility for remote working.

Your New Role:

You will be responsible for the evolution and automation of the internal platform, focusing on both the automation and scalability of the company's infrastructure (overseeing provisioning and deployment) and the management of PaaS solutions. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying company applications and platforms following an Agile/DevOps approach, using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, etc.

What You Need to Succeed:

We require at least 3 years of experience in similar roles, along with a solid academic background and experience in managing SaaS/PaaS platforms. We are also looking for strong skills in the following technologies:

1. Tools like Terraform and/or Ansible and managing messaging systems (Kafka)
2. Environments like Kubernetes and Helm
3. Scripting languages such as Python, Bash
4. Good level of English. Given the nature of the company, a good level of English is essential.
