AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) in Spain is seeking a networking-focused professional to support design, rollout and operation of our global infrastructure. You will work with network engineering, PMs, and field teams to ensure reliable, scalable connectivity for AWS services.

Responsibilities include coordinating with stakeholders, troubleshooting network and cabling issues, and assisting with hardware migrations. Occasional travel up to 20% may be required, including international trips.

Formación

Key job responsibilities

• Working closely with our Network Engineering & Network Technical Project Manager teams to ensure fast, smooth rollout of established designs and products.
• Managing work priorities through ticketing system and workflows & collaborating with various stake holders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and inter connectivity issues, including troubleshooting of network device configuration and low-level application interaction.
• Troubleshooting cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment.
• Completing customer requests via Remedy trouble ticketing system and project management workflows.
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
• You will be required to travel, up to 20% travel outside traditional work area may be required possibly including international travel

Basic Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma
• Experience in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Networking Engineering)
• Experience in networking

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networks
• Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies
