A leading IT company is seeking an experienced Infrastructure & Cloud Systems Administrator in Jaén. This position involves configuring and securing Ubuntu servers, optimizing performance, and developing processes for AWS and Azure. Ideal candidates will have extensive server administration experience, especially with Ubuntu, and a proactive, analytical approach to problem-solving.

Formación

• Minimum 4 years experience with Ubuntu Linux as a System Administrator.
• Experience with Tomcat and Apache2.
• Strong understanding of system and network configuration.

Responsabilidades

• Define optimal configurations for Ubuntu and Apache servers.
• Ensure server performance and observability.
• Enforce security practices in compliance with ISO 27001.
• Develop Packer processes for AWS and Azure.

Orisha|Openbravo is looking for a highly experienced IT professional for the position of Infrastructure & Cloud Systems Administrator. The selected candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration and security hardening of Ubuntu servers running Apache HTTP Server and Apache Tomcat; and the preparation of machine images on AWS and Azure for the provisioning of such servers.

Position responsibilities

• Define the optimal configuration of Ubuntu, Apache HTTP Server and Apache Tomcat for running Openbravo solutions
• Ensure Openbravo server deliver optimal performance and provide adequate means of observability
• Enforce best security practices on Openbravo servers in compliance with ISO 27001
• Develop and evolve the Packer processes in charge of the recurrent generation of machine images for Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure
• Support the Infrastructure and Cloud Evolution team in the development of automated procedures for the provisioning of Ubuntu servers

Position requirements

Must :

• 4 years experience working with Ubuntu Linux (server) as a System Administrator (or other Debian based distributions)
• Tomcat Application Server
• Apache2 HTTP Server
• Java installation and configuration
