Job summary

CONVOTIS Iberia is seeking an experienced DevOps/Automation Engineer to automate lifecycle management with AWX and Ansible, build CI/CD pipelines, and develop Bash/Python scripts. The role requires strong Linux/Windows, networks, and database knowledge, plus the ability to train new colleagues.

You may work from office or home, with some night/weekend shifts as part of the roster. The company emphasizes flexibility, ongoing learning, and professional development in a collaborative, inclusive

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience (excluding educational programs and internships).
• Extended, hands‑on knowledge of AWX and Ansible.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python, with the ability to create scripts independently.
• Extended knowledge of Linux and Windows systems.
• Extended knowledge of databases and networking.
• Independent, structured way of working and a strong sense of ownership.
• Ability and motivation to train and onboard new colleagues.
• Fluent English and Spanish.
• Desirable: German.

Responsibilities

• You will propose improvements to configurations and technical details to raise quality.
• You will train and onboard new colleagues and share knowledge within the team.
• You will be part of the shift roster, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• You will support colleagues beyond core role to broaden expertise.
