Job summary

CONVOTIS Iberia is seeking a seasoned DevOps/Automation Engineer to drive lifecycle automation using AWX and Ansible. The role focuses on building robust CI/CD pipelines, scripting in Bash and Python, and maintaining Linux/Windows environments.

You will work in a flexible setup, balancing office and home working and contributing to a collaborative, growth-oriented team in Europe. Fluency in English and Spanish is required, with German a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in automation and DevOps roles.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python; able to create scripts independently.
• Extended knowledge of Linux and Windows systems; databases and networking familiarity.
• Fluent English and Spanish; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Automate lifecycle management using AWX and Ansible, ensuring reliable, repeatable processes.
• Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines with existing automation integration.
• Independently carry out defined tasks on automation systems from planning to implementation.
• Document environments and systems thoroughly before implementation.
• Design and document automation and network environments for internal projects.
• Train and onboard new colleagues and share knowledge within the team.
• Contribute to on-call shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
