Job Description

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Freelance IT Support Engineer based in Madrid to support our dispatch-based activities. The role involves on-site support and hands-on tasks including :

• Network cabling and jack activation
• Router configuration and network migration
• Installation and troubleshooting of IT hardware
• L1 and L2 technical support
• Site surveys and reporting

Tools & Equipment Requirements

Applicants must have access to the following tools and equipment :

• Laptop with Ethernet port and charger
• RJ45 Cat5e Network Cable
• 1GB to 4GB USB Drive
• USB Cable : Type-A to Type-B (5-Pin mini USB)
• USB Cable : Type-A to Micro B (USB 2.0)
• USB Cable : Type-A male to Type-A male

UCS-Specific Tools :

• KVM Console to USB 2.0 Portable Laptop Crash Cart
• Universally Compatible Thermal Grease
• 1 Flat-head Screwdriver (for M5 Heatsinks)
• 2 Phillips-head Screwdriver
• Torque Driver Kit (must include T20 and T30 Torx bit)
• Torx T15 Security Screwdriver

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in field IT support or dispatch-based roles
• Strong troubleshooting and hardware diagnostic skills
• Must be punctual, professional, and capable of working independently
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Based in or near Rotterdam
• Availability to handle 2–4 monthly tickets per site

Payment Terms
