UN Secretariat, Valencia office, seeks an Information Systems Officer to drive digital transformation, manage projects, and implement moderately complex systems. You will design specifications, prepare user documentation, and support clients while ensuring data security and robust access controls.

The role emphasizes data visualization for decision support and may involve supervising junior staff as part of a dynamic IT team in a multinational environment.

Formación

• Five years of progressive experience in planning, design, development and maintenance of computer information systems.
• Five years with SharePoint/SharePoint Online/SPFX.
• Four years with Power Automate/Azure Logic Apps.
• Three years managing IT software development teams.
• Desirable experience with Machine Learning and data analytics.

Responsabilidades

• Manage projects from feasibility studies to implementation of moderately complex systems.
• Develop detailed system specifications and user documentation.
• Provide expert advice to users and translate requirements into applications.
• Maintain, upgrade, and enhance existing systems; provide user support and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain integrated computer programs with data security and access controls.
• Conduct testing and assist users with acceptance testing.
• Create training materials and train staff.
• Research new technologies for deployment.
• Write reports on systems-related topics.
• Facilitate client communications and coordinate Service Level Agreements.
• Provide guidance to junior staff.
• Collect and analyze data for trends using data visualization.
