As an Information Network Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing services to deliver Distributed Control Systems IT Infrastructure (Servers and Workstations, Networks, Virtualization, Software Deployment, and Cybersecurity) for process industry automation.

You will handle operational risks, ensure secure system and cybersecurity compliance, and maintain high-quality standards.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Collaborating with Business Consultants and Solution Architects to confirm solutions that address customer needs.
  2. Presenting solutions clearly to clients, tailored to their language and understanding levels.
  3. Qualifying opportunities and defining technical implementation strategies.
  4. Providing technical support to the sales team during the sales process.
  5. Contributing technical input to proposals and resource estimates.
  6. Assessing technical risks associated with projects.
  7. Being the technical reference within your expertise for projects.
  8. Presenting technologies or solutions at customer or sales events.
  9. Guiding scope definition to ensure alignment between order content and company capabilities.
  10. Developing sales support materials for European front offices.
  11. Supporting and executing projects within your technical field.
  12. Advising on projects and collaborating with project managers or leads.
  13. Organizing internal knowledge transfer and updates through workshops.
  14. Ensuring adherence to quality control processes and standards.
  15. Participating in client support activities such as site surveys, troubleshooting, and system modifications.
  16. Serving as a central technical contact point.
  17. Collaborating with support centers to develop capabilities.
  18. Identifying improvements in sales and project processes and Emerson products.
  19. Analyzing past projects for future benefits and standard solution development.
  20. Assisting in building organizational implementation capabilities.
  21. Engaging in business development, including creating marketing materials based on project results.
  22. Maintaining relationships with key third-party vendors.

Requirements for this role include:

  • Minimum 5, preferably 10, years of experience in automation DCS and field implementation.
  • Deep technical knowledge in specific technology areas.

  • Strong process understanding and recognized expertise.
  • Proficiency in local language and English (verbal and written), excellent communication skills.
  • Membership or progress towards professional accreditation.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
