Ecolab is seeking a Process Engineer to develop and execute process engineering activities for water treatment systems in greenfield industrial projects. The role covers water balance, treatment technologies, and integration with multidisciplinary teams across FEL, FEED, and EPC phases.

You will contribute to robust and cost-effective solutions, coordinating with mechanical, electrical, civil, and automation disciplines, and supporting commissioning and start-up activities as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical/Process Engineering.
• Experience in water treatment process engineering for industrial projects.
• FEED and/or EPC project experience is desirable.
• Strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment technologies.
• Experience preparing PFDs, P&IDs, and technical reports.
• Familiarity with process simulation tools.
• Exposure to international standards and environmental regulations is a bonus.
• Experience with project execution, commissioning, or site activities is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Support development of process design for water and wastewater systems across FEL, FEED, EPC.
• Identify raw water requirements and characterize process effluents.
• Select and evaluate water treatment technologies to meet requirements.
• Develop and validate water balances and process schemes.
• Perform process calculations and simulations to support equipment selection.
• Size storage tanks, treatment units, and utility systems.
• Prepare PFDs, P&IDs, PDS, and technical reports.
• Support water reuse and recycling strategies.
• Ensure alignment with regulations and project requirements.
• Collaborate with internal disciplines and external partners.
• Support procurement through technical specifications review.
• Contribute to commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting.
