Job summary

Ecolab is seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join the Global High Tech team. You will support development and delivery of industrial water and wastewater treatment solutions, combining process design, technical proposals, and project support across the lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has a chemical, environmental, or mechanical engineering background, at least 3 years in water treatment design, and fluent English with French or Spanish skills. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in chemical, environmental or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years designing and supporting sale of water treatment equipment.
• Experience with process calculations and mass balances.
• Fluent in English; French or Spanish also desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design water and wastewater treatment solutions for industrial clients with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare technical proposals, equipment selections and CAPEX/OPEX estimates.
• Support project lifecycle from development to commissioning and start-up.
• Conduct site surveys and assess customer operations to tailor treatment solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers, suppliers and engineering teams.
