We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Project Engineer to join our Madrid office.

As an employee of IPS, you will actively participate in a wide range of projects within an industrial environment. The management of each project can include multiple phases and specializations:

  1. Strategic Consulting: project master planning, conceptual engineering.
  2. Project feasibility: process description, plant layout, overall schedule, procurement strategy, financial planning.
  3. Project preparation: investment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, financing, and procurement.
  4. Project realization: project management; detailed engineering, construction management, commissioning, and operational management.

Role Overview:

As a Supply Chain Project Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing supply chain projects within the Food Industry, Life Sciences, Chemical, Primary, or Building sectors.
  • Conducting simulation projects for operational and logistics purposes using AnyLogic and FlexSim software to design optimal logistics infrastructures.
  • Studying, analyzing, and optimizing supply chains.
  • Performing analysis, conceptual design, procurement, and supervision of warehousing and transportation implementations.
  • Conducting digital audits to analyze operational issues in factories and designing strategies to mitigate them.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain is a plus.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in industrial supply chain or warehouse process improvement projects.
  • Familiarity with Lean methodologies, process mapping, and warehouse KPIs is highly valued.
  • Experience or knowledge in simulation modeling using FlexSim, AnyLogic, or similar software is a plus.
  • Fluency in English; French is an advantage.
  • Willingness to be mobile according to project needs (20% to 60%).
