Arbex is seeking an Industrial Hygiene professional to lead global IH strategy, standards, and risk reduction across sites. You will drive exposure monitoring, data-driven decisions, and cross-functional collaboration with EHS, Engineering and Operations to ensure safe, compliant operations.

The role requires strong English communication, experience in multi-site environments, and the ability to partner with leadership to implement practical IH solutions. A hybrid work model is offered.

Formación

• Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, EHS, Engineering or related technical qualification; advanced IH qualification/certification preferred.
• Experience in IH programmes, exposure monitoring strategies and risk reduction plans.
• Experience in global or multi-site manufacturing environments.
• Ability to partner with EHS, OH, Engineering and leadership teams to deliver practical risk reduction.
• Strong written and verbal English; other languages a plus.

• Provide IH support for incidents, investigations and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations and EHS on design reviews and capital projects.
• Prioritize IH-related capital investments to reduce exposure risk.
• Conduct IH assessments and audits to identify gaps and improvements.

About You

In one of our supply chain roles,you’llfocus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at thecentre.Jobresponsibilities include:

• Support the development, deployment and continuous improvement of Arbex’s global Industrial Hygiene strategy, standards, tools, risk reduction plans and performance targets.

• Lead and coordinate IH risk assessment activities across sites, including exposure to noise, enzymes, hazardous materials, heat stress, ergonomic stressors, biological agents and other workplace health hazards.

• Develop, maintain and support implementation of global IH standards and guidance, ensuring alignment with applicable legal requirements, industry practice and Arbex expectations.

• Ensure exposure monitoring data is collected, reviewed, analysed and used to inform risk decisions, corrective actions, assurance activities and leadership reporting.

• Build IH competence across site EHS teams, OH professionals and business stakeholders

• Provide technical IH support for incidents, exposure concerns and investigations, including root cause analysis, corrective action planning and verification of controls.

• Partner with Engineering, Operations and EHS teams to integrate IH requirements into design reviews, new facilities, process changes, ventilation systems and capital projects.

• Support prioritisation of IH-related capital investment and ensure funding is directed to effective controls that reduce exposure risk and support business objectives.

• Conduct or support periodic IH assessments and audits to evaluate programme maturity, identify gaps, escape t risks and recommend improvement actions.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications/ experience:

• Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, EHS, Engineering or related technical qualification; advanced IH qualification or certification CIH, ROH, BOHS, MSc in Occupational Hygiene, or equivalent qualifications as preferred.

• Significant experience in industrial hygiene, preferably in a global or multi-site manufacturing environment.

• Experience developing and implementing IH programmes, exposure monitoring strategies, standards, tools and risk reduction plans.

• Experience working across multiple countries, regions or business units in a matrix organisation.

• Demonstrated ability to partner with EHS, OH, Engineering, Operations and leadership teams to deliver practical risk reduction.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.

• Experience with digital tools e.g. Cority, ETQ, Power Bi. (Desired)
