Industrial Engineer

We are interested in a Continuous Improvement and Process Optimisation Engineer for the Warehouse Logistics operations.

What you’ll do on a typical day

1. Improve production processes in the logistics platform, analysing operations, with proposals for improvement and leadership in the implementation of actions.
2. Analyse the possible technological tools that can be implemented in the warehouse production processes.
3. Propose continuous improvements for the optimisation of existing work processes, increasing capacity to provide services and monitoring.
4. Analyze the client's logistical needs, designing the work methodology necessary to fulfill the commitments acquired.
5. Conduct market research on new technological references applied to logistics that can be implemented in the warehouse.
6. Fulfill the service levels agreed with the client, productivity objectives, stock reliability, and product shrinkage.

What you need to succeed at GXO

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, specialising in mechanics.
• Master's degree in logistics and supply chain (highly desirable).
• At least 3 years of experience in the logistics sector, industrial sector, the implementation of logistics operations, work processes, and warehouse activities.
• Proficiency in English.
• Advanced skills in Office and Internet packages.
• Advanced knowledge of integrated and Warehouse management software.
• Strong data analytics, troubleshooting skills, and a creative approach for generating new ideas.
• Resolutive and decision-making skills.
• Initiative, flexibility, management skills, and a clear customer orientation.
• Ability to plan and organize volatile/changing processes.
