• Experiencia comprobada en ingeniería de procesos y proyectos de transformación técnica en la industria alimentaria.

Position Overview

We are now looking for an Industrial Application Manager to join our Technical Transformation team. The incumbent will be responsible for:

1. Guide and assist the engineering department in designing new facilities or modifying existing technological processes to meet the evolving production needs of the category.
2. Conduct research and evaluate emerging technologies applicable to category product manufacturing, ensuring their feasibility and potential benefits.
3. Plan and execute proof-of-concept studies to assess the technical and economic viability of new technologies at an early stage. Establish strong relationships with technology providers to communicate needs and develop joint solutions.
4. Analyze and estimate potential cost savings resulting from the implementation of new technologies and processes.
5. Determine the required equipment specifications and calculate the necessary investments for implementing new technologies and processes at an early stage.
6. Facilitate communication and cooperation between the technical transformation team, the development team, and the engineering teams in each production facility.

Lead innovation and transformation projects, ensuring that objectives related to quality, cost, and timelines are met.

1. Oversee and supervise the training process required for the successful implementation of new technologies and processes on production lines.
2. Work closely with the quality department to ensure new processes and technologies comply with established quality standards and specifications.
3. Propose and lead continuous improvement initiatives in category product manufacturing processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Proven experience in process engineering, R&D, or technical transformation projects within the food industry.
• Strong background in innovation, process optimization, and technology implementation.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing engineering or transformation projects.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of food production processes, equipment sizing, and cost estimation.
• Project Management: Ability to plan, execute, and oversee process improvement and innovation projects while ensuring deadlines, quality, and cost objectives are met.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate new technologies and their feasibility for implementation.
• Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, development, and quality teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Training & Leadership: Capacity to supervise and guide teams in the adoption of new processes and technologies.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactive approach to identifying and implementing process optimizations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
