JD Logistics, a part of JD.com, seeks an In Stock Specialist Lead to optimize product availability across the JD supply chain. You will supervise a team, monitor stock levels, and partner with procurement to ensure timely replenishment.

The role focuses on reducing stockouts, improving turns, and driving cost efficiency in a fast-paced e-commerce environment. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in inventory roles, strong analytics, and leadership experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in inventory management or supply chain, with 1-2 years in leadership.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, forecasting, and supply chain operations.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English is preferred.

Responsabilités

  • Supervise, train, and mentor a team of In Stock Specialists, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.
  • Monitor KPIs related to in-stock rates, inventory levels, and stockout frequency, implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop and execute inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, reduce carrying costs, and improve product availability.
  • Analyze sales data, forecast demand, and collaborate with procurement and merchandising teams to ensure timely replenishment of products.
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, slow-moving inventory, and potential stockout risks.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures, including cycle counting and perpetual inventory systems.
  • Collaborate with warehousing, logistics, and supply chain partners to streamline inbound and outbound inventory flows.
  • Generate regular reports on inventory performance, highlighting areas for improvement and presenting recommendations to management.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in inventory management.

Job Summary

Lead and supervise a team of In Stock Specialists to ensure optimal product availability and inventory management within JD.com's extensive supply chain. This role focuses on minimizing out-of-stock situations, optimizing inventory turns, and collaborating with various departments to maintain a seamless flow of goods.

Job Responsibilities

Job Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of inventory control principles, forecasting methodologies, and supply chain operations.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team building, coaching, and performance management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic e-commerce environment.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English is preferred.
